Coimbatore: Welfare assistance was provided to 268 beneficiaries in Madathukulam under the 'Ungal Thoguthiyil Muthalamaichar' scheme. During the election, DMK leader Stalin received thousands of petitions from the general public. He assured that action would be taken on the petitions within 100 days of the formation of the DMK regime. Accordingly, various welfare assistance was provided in all the Assembly constituencies in Tirupur district.
Today, welfare assistance worth Rs. 32,27,000 was provided to 268 beneficiaries in Madathukulam. The Minister of Information and Publicity, M.P. Saminathan and Adi Dravida Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi. The event was attended by many including former Madathukulam legislator Jayaramakrishnan and DMK West Union leader Easwaramoorthy.
