The petition was filed at the Coimbatore District Collector's Office on Thursday, seeking an increase in the number of vaccination centers for the district.
Pollachi legislator, Pollachi Jayaraman who took offence at the Collector receiving the petition while continuing to remain seated in his chair questioned his etiquette. A commotion ensued following his argument with the Collector since other AIADMK MLAs present there also began talking disrespectfully to the Coimbatore District Collector.
