Work intensified to clean 15 parks as 3 parks per day in Coimbatore Corporation
Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara is inspecting parks in 5 zones under the Coimbatore Corporation and is currently cleaning 15 parks.
During the inspection of the parks by Corporation Commissioner in the 5 zones under the Corporation of Coimbatore, dry tree leaves, slides and garbage were found in the parks. The Corporation Commissioner ordered the Zonal Engineers to carry out Mass Cleaning of all parks. Work is currently in progress of clearing 15 parks in 5 zones at 3 parks per day.
Following that, yesterday in East Zone he inspected Ward No.56 College Nagar Park, Ward No.57 Kamban Nagar Park, Ward No.32 Kanchi HST Park, West Zone Ward No.18 Maharani Avenue Park, Ward No.9 SKR. Nagar Park, North Zone Ward No.27 Chinnavedampatti Subramaniam Nagar Park, Ward No.44 Nallampalayam Ranga Lay-out Park, Ward No.55 Bharathiar Road Brindavan Park, South Zone Coimbatore Housing Unit X- Block park. Garbage removal and cleaning work was carried out in the Central Zone, Ward No. 51, Swarnambika Lay-out Park, Ward No. 72, VOC Park North, and Ward No. 72, VOC Park East.
Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer have ordered that all the parks in the Coimbatore Corporation be cleaned by the end of August.
