Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Raja Gopal Sunkara said, "Temporary Field Workers (FSW) Field Survey Workers in Coimbatore Corporation are conducting a survey of businesses, companies and shops in the Corporation areas. This includes adding new stores and businesses, and removing businesses and stores that have been on the D&O Demand List since 2000.
That is, the work is being done to add new companies that are not on the hearing register and to remove the vacated shops and companies on this list and to create a new hearing record. The GST number is not going to be used for any other reason. Also, there is no compulsion to share the GST number but the other details must be given. Also the field workers are indulged in this survey work as per our instructions."
