Kurichi Prabhakaran petitions to Corporation Commissioner regarding problems faced by people from the 94th ward to 100th ward.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore East District DMK Responsibility Committee Member Kurichi Prabhakaran today called on Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Rajagopal Sunkara and submitted a petition regarding the basic problem of the people from Kurichi area 94th ward to 100th ward under Kinathukadavu constituency.
Kurichi Prabhakaran said in the petition that he met the Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Rajagopal Sunkara today, “Roads dug for underground sewerage projects in Ward 94 to Ward 100 in the Kurichi area under the Coimbatore Corporation Southern Zone need to be repaired, drinking water supply should be repaired immediately if the drinking water pipes are broken in various places during the sewerage works.
Unlit street lights at night need to be fixed. Cemeteries should be cleaned and maintained. Toilets should be upgraded to maintain hygiene and new toilet facilities should be provided. We need to control the growing street dog menace. The petition states that the public should be kept safe by removing blockages in the sewers to prevent them from becoming infected with various diseases.
