AIADMK activists staged protests in various parts of the Coimbatore district yesterday, condemning the DMK government for deceiving the people by promising change and announcing the cancellation of the 'NEET' exam.

Led by AIADMK MLA Jayaram from Singanallur constituency, more than 100 people, including former MLA Maheshwari and Zonal IT Secretary Ramachandran, stood at a long distance on the road near the bus stop in Vasantham and chanted slogans against the DMK government.
Speaking at the time, MLA Jayaram said, "The DMK government is deceiving the people who voted during the election. Petrol and diesel prices have not been reduced. The DMK government has deceived Tamil Nadu students in NEET examination. It is an intimidating opposition by making false allegations. It is reprehensible that the DMK is cheating the people who voted."
