Public stand in long queues patiently amidst pouring rain in Valparai to be vaccinated against Covid-19
Coimbatore: At the vaccination camp against Covid-19 held in Valparai on Yesterday in Coimbatore district, a large number of people lined up amidst the pouring rain to get vaccinated.
Vccinations were being administered at other tea estates in the Valparai area. A total of 1,176 vaccinations are being administered at Valparai Government Men's High School Center for 300 people, Sholayar Primary Health Center - 72, Periyar Nagar - 48, Tata Estate - 84, Kurangumudi Estate - 60, Ayarpadi Estate - 60, Shekalmudi Estate - 60, Periya Karumalai Estate - 60, Jayasree Estate - 60, Waterfall Estate - 60, TANTEA Estate 60, Shakti Thalanar Estate - 36, Rottikadai Government High School - 60, Vellimudi Settlement - 36.
The vaccinations are being administered by doctors, nurses and Government Primary Health Center medical staff under the leadership of the Valparai Regional Resource Center Chief, Dr. Babu Lakshmanan.
