General Committee of Ration Shop Employees commend CM M K Stalin for announcing that ration shops will function as a separate department
Coimbatore: Isin the wake of Chief Minister M K Stalin's announcement that ration shops will function as a separate department, a resolution was passed at a meeting of the General Committee of the Ration Shop Employees Union in Kinnathukadavu thanking the Chief Minister for his decision.
The Coimbatore District General Body Meeting of the Tamil Nadu Government Ration Shop Employees Union was held at a private hall at Sokkanur Road, Kinathukadavu. The meeting chaired by the State President, Rajendran was attended by a large number of fair price shop employees from Coimbatore district. In the meeting. a resolution was passed thanking the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin for announcing that ration shops would function as a separate department.

The meeting also stressed the need to recruit surveyor posts in ration shops across Tamil Nadu due to the extra burden. The general body meeting was attended by the District Chairman Kaliyappan, State Treasurer Nagaraj, State Deputy Chairman Chittibabu, District Secretary Selvaraj, Deputy Chairman Murugesan, Treasurer Kanakasabapathy and many others.
