Minister of Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department inspects various temples in Tirupur
Coimbatore: Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department Sekarbabu todayinspected various temples in Tirupur district. Hindu Charities Minister Sekarbabu today inspected the Thirumuruganpoondi Thirumuruganathan Swamy Temple, Veeraraghava Perumal Temple and Visvesvaraya Swamy Temple in Tirupur district.
Commenting on this, Minister of Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Sekarbabu said, "In Tamil Nadu, as per the Agama rules, 'kumbhabhishekam' has to be conducted once in 12 years. He met the staff working in the temples and the priests in person and asked them about their problems and their needs and said that the survey work would be carried out immediately. As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, the temples have become pure 'Nandavanam' and said inspections will be held to check the temple cars. He said that the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has issued an order that at least once worship should be held in all temples without any discrimination as high income temples are non-income temples.
It is planned to hold large-scale 'Kumbabishekam' ceremonies this year and this generation DMK rule will be a golden rule for the spiritual people. He said the temple lands have been reclaimed from unprecedented levels of occupation. He also said that the Chief Minister has ordered action against those who have occupied the temple lands. Also, work is being done on the basis that all castes members can become priests and said the procedures will be completed in 100 daysand are being implemented gradually. Information Minister Swaminathan was accompanied by Selvaraj District Collector Vineeth and others during the inspection.
