Free vaccination in private hospitals: District Collector Sameeran
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Collector said that steps have been taken to provide free vaccinations in private hospitals through CSR funds. CSR is the social responsibility fund of the industries in the Coimbatore District Collector's Office. A consultative meeting was held at the District Collector’s Office on providing free vaccinations to the public in private hospitals using the CSR funds.
District Collector Sameeran presided over the meeting and District Rural Development Agency Project Director Kavitha, Pollachi Sub-Collector Thakre Subam, Gnanadevarao District Trade Center General Manager Karthika Vasan, Associate Director Krishna Assistant Collector Training Saranya and many others participated.
District Collector Sameeran said, The number of coronavirus prevention measures taken in the district and vaccination work is also being intensified throughout the district. In Tamil Nadu, after Chennai, Coimbatore has administered the highest number of vaccinations. Steps have been taken to use the CSR funds to pay for vaccinations to the public free of cost through private hospitals. For this, all the industry companies have to use their CSR funds. The goal of vaccination for all will soon be achieved if free vaccination is provided in private hospitals. He said that full cooperation will be given on behalf of the district administration in this regard.
