DMK State Women's Volunteer Wing Meena Jayakumar distributes food and relief items to Adikudi people in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: DMK, State Women's Volunteer Wing and Deputy Secretary Meena Jayakumar in a statement said “under Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's rule and upon orders of Maruthamalai Senathipathi, Meena Jayakumar, Deputy Secretary, State Women's Volunteer Wing, provided food, relief items and medical assistance to the Muniyappanpathi Adikudi people under the Thirumalayampalayam Perur Kazhagam of the Coimbatore East District Kinathukadavu (m) Union yesterday.
KK Senthilkumar, in-charge of Kinathukadavu Union and R.K. Ramaraj and General Committee Member S. Natarajan and Coimbatore East District Women's Organizer R. Kamalam, volunteer organizer Parimalarani and co-organizers were present.
"It is to be noted that Meena Jayakumar, Deputy Secretary, Women's Volunteer Wing, has provided various assistance during the Coronavirus lockdown, including welfare assistance, relief work, food distribution, medical care and welfare assistance to the needy in various parts of Coimbatore."
