Corporation Flying Squad lock and seal three shops in Coimbatore for violating Covid curfew rules
Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation's Flying Squad officers, led by the East Zone Assistant Commissioner locked and sealed three shops in Coimbatore for violating Covid-19 safety and prevention measures.
The Tamil Nadu Government has been announcing a gradual relaxation of lockdown restrictions in Coimbatore. Following this, it was announced that all shops in Coimbatore should be open only till 9 pm. A bakery, apparel store and a supermarket near Hope College in Peelamedu area were reportedly open for business even after 9 pm.
The squad rushed to the area and the three shops in the three-storey building operating in the Coimbatore Corporation East Zone's Hope College area were closed and sealed.
