Minister for Information and Publicity, M P Saminathan inspects Smart City project work in Tirupur Corporation limits
Coimbatore: In the Tirupur Corporation areas around the bus stand, town hall, Kalaiarangam and daily vegetable market, flyovers are being constructed under the Smart City project. M P Saminathan, the Minister for Information and Publicity inspected the Smart City project work in person along with Highways and Revenue Department officials.
Addressing the media right after inspection of the ongoing works under the Smart City project at various places in Tirupur Corporation limits, the Minister stated that he had ordered the authorities to provide toilet facilities, drinking water and parking in public places. The names of the donors to the Kalaiarangam to be set up in the town hall area will be brought to the notice of the Chief Minister. The District Collector, the Commissioner of the Corporation and the members of the Legislature were present during the inspection.
