Coimbatore: Sri Krishna Institutions, Coimbatore in association with SRM Institutes for Medical Science (SIMS), Chennai conducted a Covid vaccination camp for the faculties and their family members at its college premises.

In a press release,"A team of Doctors from SIMS Hospital, Chennai Organised the Vaccination Drive. Sri Krishna Institutions has been doing various services for the causes of Covid. It has created so many awareness programmes to the students, faculties and also to the communities. Many community level programmes have been conducted and also assisted the District Administration and the state Government. Continuing its efforts in the fight against the COVID pandemic, in joining with SIMS Hospitals, Chennai, organised a vaccination drive for about 800 faculties and their families of Sri Krishna Institutions."
"In line with the vaccination drive initiated across the country, SIMS Hospital has been involved in a mass vaccination program since January 2021. Since then the hospital has vaccinated more than 22,000 individuals across age groups as per the government guidelines, to protect them from the COVID-19 virus."
"S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee of Sri Krishna Institutions supported this camp and initiated the vaccine drive. Dr.K.Sundararaman, CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions presided over the camp.Dr.Raju Sivasamy, Vice-President, Dr.Vikram.P.S.J, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr.Krishnakanth and Dr.Rupan of SIMS along with nursing and technical staff participated in the camp and administered the vaccine for the people."
