Coimbatore: Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department PK Sekarbabu has said that he is considering giving a holiday to 'Maha Shivaratri'.
‘Maha Shivaratri’ is celebrated in 15 states. Therefore, there is a demand for a holiday in Tamil Nadu on this day.
"The decision to grant a public holiday for Maha Shivaratri in Tamil Nadu will be taken in consultation with the Chief Minister," said PK Sekarbabu,Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department
