The camp was inaugurated by the Minister of Public Welfare and Medical Services, M Subramaniam.
Rigorous action is being taken on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu to control the spread of coronavirus throughout Tamil Nadu. As part of this, a special coronavirus vaccination camp for the disabled was held in Coimbatore today. The camp was held at Government High School, Chinniyampalayam, Coimbatore. Hundreds of disabled people attended and received the coronavirus vaccine. The camp was inaugurated by Minister M. Subramaniam.
Minister of Food and Civil Supply Sakkarapani, District Collector G.S. Sameeran, Medical Secretary Radhakrishnan, Government Medical College Dean Nirmala, Deputy Director (Health) Senthil, former MLA Na. Karthik, DMK East District Officer Maruthamalai Senadhipathi, DMK Women Volunteer Meena Jayakumar and many others were present.
