Public demand to clean high-tech toilet installed by Coimbatore Corporation that is unclean without water
Coimbatore: The high-tech toilets set up by the Coimbatore Corporation for the disabled and the public are now unclean without water.
The public has demanded that it be cleaned up for use. State-of-the-art toilet built with technology for the use of the disabled and the general public on behalf of the corporation is set-up outside the Gandhipuram bus stand, Coimbatore. It is now locked and in such a bad condition that people cannot use it.
When asked about this, a corporation cleaner said, “There is not enough water available for loading in the tank. So we don’t even have enough water to clean it up. Clean water has to be filled if it needs to be used as it is developed in special technology. It saddens us that it is not being used like this. ”
The people have demanded that the corporation immediately intervene and fill the tank with water on a daily basis for public and the disabled to use.
