Coimbatore: 'Vilvah Agro,' the first zero waste store was inaugurated in Coimbatore at Racecourse.

A press release issued by the company said, "Vilvah, a sustainable skincare brand founded by Kruthika and her husband Tamil Kumaran in 2017 and got immensely popular in social media for their result-oriented skincare solutions. Vilvah launches the city's first zero waste store in Race Course with the newest addition of Vilvah Agro, an exclusive brand for heritage and native rice varieties."

Speaking about the brand, Kruthika says, "Vilvah is a sustainable skincare brand which makes skincare goodies with the freshest ingredients and high-performance formulation. We are known for our result-oriented skincare solutions with natural ingredients, ingredient transparent policy, sustainable ethos and plastic free packaging. We use clinically-proven activities in our formulation, and the formulations are specifically curated for indian skin type.

We are committed to support the local farmers by sourcing fresh ingredients from them and farm fresh goat milk from Vilvah Farm. Our goat milk soaps and shampoo are quite popular for their efficacy. All our products are free from sulphates, silicones, parabens, artificial fragrance, harsh chemicals, Glycols, GMOs, and ee do not support animal testing," she added.

Speaking on Vilvah Agro, Kumaran the Co-Founder said, "Vilvah Agro was started with a passion to bring back the heritage and native rice varieties from all over India to our beloved customers. We started with 42 varieties of rice and plan to stock up to 100 rarest varieties of rice. A basic south indian household consumes at least two meals with rice (60 percent of a south indian meal is rice), and so we would want our customers' major portion of their diet to be organic, native and healthy.

Native variety rice has more nutritional value compared to hybrid rice.We have a professional nutritionist on board, all data has been researched properly and we have records to back our claims. Sustainability being the core philosophy, our Vilvah Agro is completely zero waste where you will have to get your own vessels or bags to purchase the rice varieties," he further added.
