Tiruppur: Tirupur District Tourism Officer T. Aravindakumar along with various government departments inspected the Thirumurthymalai Dam Park Tourism Development Project in Tirupur District at Thirumurthy Hill Tourism.
Thirumurthy Hills is located in the Western Ghats near Udumalai in Tirupur District. ThePanchalingam Falls is located at an elevation of 960 m above the hill. At the foot of the hill, on the banks of the lake, there are various features such as the Amanalingeswarar Temple, the Thirumurthymalai Dam Park Boat House, the Swimming Pool, the Colorful Gallery and the Playground, which includes the trinity of Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. District Tourism Officer Arvind Kumar along with various officials inspected the construction of dam parks at these tourist sites.

The Government of Tamil Nadu Tourism is planning to develop the dam parks in various dam areas in Tamil Nadu to promote tourism. Following this, the district tourism officials conducted a inspection here.
Thirumurthymalai Dam is a beautiful place that attracts tourists. Plans are afoot to build a beautiful dam park on 2700 meters of public works land adjacent to the Thirumurthymalai Dam. Tourism officials held consultations with Thirumurthymalai Divisional Engineer Thirumurthy and Engineer Gopi and Assistant Engineer Shanmugam for the re-implementation of the project.

Tirupur District Tourism Officer Aravind Kumar told public works officials that efforts would be made on behalf of the tourism department to bring the project to the attention of the government, fund it and set up a beautiful dam park to attract tourists.
District Assistant Tourism Officer T. Selvaraj was accompanied by tourism enthusiasts Shanmugaraj, Jawahar, Prasanth, Balaji and Bonraj during the inspection.
