Coimbatore: Fisher Pumps, Saanvi Agricultural Products and Mahendra Pumps from Coimbatore win big at the first edition of Tally MSME Honours 2021.
Tally MSME Honours is an initiative launched by Tally Solutions to celebrate the diversity, unrelenting contribution and the positive impact of MSMEs through their best practices at the grassroot level, right up to the national economic level. These honours are bestowed once a year on the occasion of the International MSME Day and are applicable to all types of businesses with a turnover less than 250 crores and valid GST registration.
Parthiban Ramaswamy of Fisher Pumps was honored in the ‘Idea Icon’ category for innovating Air Purifying Respirator especially for doctors and frontline health workers and has been one of the safest PPE equipment against COVID, providing 99.9 percent purified air and full-face protection.
Anandhi S and Parameswari S of Saanvi Agricultural Products were honoured in the ‘WonderWomen’ category for innovation in the sustainable agricultural products category, building a successful business and inspiring the business community as women leaders. All their products are naturally produced with testing at different stages to help ensure the right quality standards that are to be used in floriculture, horticulture and agriculture. Mahendra Pumps on the other hand won in the ‘Business Veteran’ category for its unrelenting efforts to sustain leadership in the motors and pumps marketplace for the past 60 years.
In its first edition, Tally MSME Honours recognized seven MSMEs in Tamil Nadu and 81 in the country. Celebrated across four zones (East, West, North and South) of the country, the honours were bestowed in five categories:
Business Veterans: Recognizing the stalwarts who have withstood the test of time and continued to thrive and grow
Digital Transformers: Recognizing the adaptability and adoption of new tech and digitization
WonderWomen in MSMEs: Recognizing women entrepreneurs who have defied stereotypes and defined their business journey with confidence
Social Patrons: Recognizing those who have put social help before profits in testing times
