Al Ameen Iykkiya Jamaat petitions to eradicate growing drug culture in Coimbatore and correct the substandard work done during previous regime
Coimbatore: A petition has been filed in the offices of the district administration, the Corporation and the Police Commissioner on behalf of the Al Ameen Iykkiya Jamaat and Iyakka Kootaimaippu to eradicate the growing drug culture in Coimbatore and the restoration of substandard work done during the previous regime.
The petition was filed on behalf of the Coimbatore Al Ameen Iyikkiya Jamaat and Iyakka Kootaimaippu at the offices of the District Collector, Corporation Commissioner and Commissioner of Police, headed by its executives Ubaidur Rahman, Jaber Sadiq and Qasim. “Tens of thousands of families are living in Anna Nagar, Al Ameen Colony, Rose Garden, Bilal Estate, Ponvizha Nagar, Anbu Nagar and some areas under the 86th Ward of Coimbatore Corporation and we need to set up a separate vaccination camp for these areas.
Young people and children under the age of 15 in the area are at great risk of drug addiction. This is the case not only in Coimbatore, but in most of the districts. The petition also demanded repairing of substandard work done during the previous regime, including underground sewage.
