Police, including Inspector Vijayan and SI Chandran, rushed to the spot and arrested the gamblers.
Police arrested 32-year-old Prakash from Meenakshipuram, 25-year-old Saravanakumar, 27-year-old Sakthivel from Periyapoduvai, 25-year-old Rajeshkumar from Thivansapudur, 27-year-old Pasupathi from Kilavanpudur, 20-year-old Nagaraj from Veerappagavundanur, 23-year-old Ramesh and 25-year-old Karumandakavundanur and confiscated Rs. 36,270 from them.
