A call came to the Coimbatore City Police control room around 7 this morning. The caller said that he overheard two men from Kerala talking about planting a bomb in the railway station and hence he called to report the incident to the police and hung up.
Bomb detection and deactivation unit police, Central Railway Security Force Bomb Surveillance Unit police conducted a search with the help of a sniffer dog. This caused a stir in the Coimbatore railway station.
