Coimbatore: At their Syrian Church Road office, the Small Traders Association along with members of Hum Hindu organised a free vaccination camp in which 590 people including senior citizens and lactating mothers from all communities were vaccinated.

According to one of the members, Kishore Kumar, "Led by the Tamil Nadu President, Praful Sejpal, Secretary Puroshatam Das, Usha Praful, Kamlesh Rawal , Narendra Nanesha, Ravi Kumar, Shankar, Sreedharan, Durgaram Shirvee,a Ajay Maji, Lalit Bhati, Obaram and others made all the arrangements for the free vaccination camp.
The beneficiaries thanked the District Collector, Corporation Commissioner and BJP MLA Vanathi Srinivasan for getting the vaccines free for the needy. The District BJP Secretary, Mohana Ambal coordinated with the Health Department.
The police who were passing by requested for vaccinations and the members of Hum Hindu social organisation, instead of getting their jabs instead gave their tokens to police officers and other senior citizens. Many who were present appreciated the volunteers for their selfless social service," he added.
