In the Anna Nagar area adjacent to the town of Valparai, a stairway leading from the top to the bottom near the Mariamman temple has collapsed.
Five of the stairs were completely damaged.
Due to this the public passing by are suffering with no way out. Revenue officials and municipality, have visited the spot and are investigating.
