Only people with e-Pass and Coronavirus-negative tests can enter Tamil Nadu from Kerala. The police and Revenue Department officials are engaged in intensive surveillance in the Veerappagavundanur area along the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border, near Kinathukadavu.

The Police and Revenue Department officials are intensely screening two-wheelers and cars from Kerala, and allowing entry only for e-pass holders and sending back those who do not hold e-passes.

People living on the border areas of Tamil Nadu and Kerala are finding it difficult to travel daily due to the e-pass procedure. They lamented that they were not allowed to go to work and therefore asked for some restrictions to be eased for those living on the tamil Nadu-Kerala border areas.
