District Collector received petitions through video conferencing as per government instructions
Coimbatore: The government has instructed government offices to submit petitions to the district collector through video conferencing due to coronavirus in Tamil Nadu.
A public grievance camp is being held on Monday at the Coimbatore District Collector's Office. As a preventive measure against coronavirus, the Chief Minister advised that a grievance camp will be held on Monday at the office of the District Collector by video conferencing in Tahsildar office.
Petitions are being received through video conferencing at 11 Tahsildhar offices in Coimbatore district. District Collector Sameeran heard the 2 petitions received in the presence of Tahsildhar Rajan and Pension Tahsildhar Muthu Kumar.

Kumar, a resident of Ayyarpadi Estate near Valparai, petitioned the District Collector to provide him with a bank loan and a monthly retirement pay of Rs 1,000, to raise it to Rs 1,500 and to provide him with a house as he does not own a house.

Similarly, Laila Baby 46, a resident of the Vazhaithottam area, filed a petition with the District Collector seeking a pension.
