Coimbatore: An imported breed dog raised at the home of a Hindu Mahasabha official was killed by poisoning the chicken meat. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
KR Subhash, 46, of Pannimadai, near Thudiyalur in Coimbatore, is the state youth wing leader and organizer of the All India Hindu Maha Sabha. He is raising a foreign breed dog in his home. When he woke up yesterday morning, the foreign dog had mysteriously died. He also found that pieces of chicken meat lay near the dog. Thus it was revealed that someone mysteriously poisoned the dog and he lodged a complaint with the Thadagam police.
Following this, the police have registered a case and are investigating. It is to be noted that petrol bombs were hurled at KR Subhash's car a few months ago.
