Coimbatore: Two men have been arrested and jailed for robbing a youth near Pollachi.
Karthik who hails from Singanallur village near Pollachi was on his way home via Pollachi Fish Road on his two-wheeler on Wednesday night. Around that time, Hariprasad and Velmurugan from Kumaran Nagar who had misled Karthik regarding the route, near the double eye bridge, attacked Karthik. The two men snatched his two-wheeler, silver chain and mobile phone, and fled the scene.
Following this, he lodged a complaint with the Western Police Station. Based on this, the police arrested Hariprasad and Velmurugan, who were hiding in the market place, and imprisoned them.
