There have been complaints that in the suburbs of Coimbatore, some youth have been committing crimes under the influence of drugs. It has also come to light that youth in the Ukkadam area have been mixing painkillers with water and injecting them into their bodies.
Coimbatore Metropolitan Police are reportedly investigating the viral video after the police arrested the youth for injecting drugs a few days ago. According to psychiatrists, young people who are addicted to drugs at a young age are more likely to be involved in sexual and various other crimes. The public has demanded that the police take stern action against drug dealers in Coimbatore to prevent them from ruining the lives of youth.
