Following the decline of Covid-19 cases, the Tamil Nadu Government has eased restrictions on public transport services across Tamil Nadu from July 5. Public transport services which were suspended since May 10 due to Covid lockdown has now resumed and Government buses are being operated throughout Coimbatore district.

But there have been less buses operating in the Kinathukadavu area making it difficult for those who need to travel. Locals have demanded additional buses from Kinathukadavu to Coimbatore, Pollachi and rural areas since passengers wait for long hours at the new bus stand in Kinathukadavu since very few buses have been plying on this route.
