Coimbatore: DMK Pollachi Thondamuthur, Coimbatore MP Shanmughasundaram visited Suparswanath Jain temple at Rangai Gowder street.
The DMK MP was honoured by members of the Jain community at the Jain temple.
MP Shanmugamsundaram stated that his leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin had instructed party members to be extremely people-friendly and the social schemes should reach all sections of the society. He appreciated the Jain community for helping people in Coimbatore during the Covid-19 crisis. He appreciated the work of the DMK district Business Organising Head, Naresh Obani who had toileed for the party and society at large for the past decade.
Temple Vice President Naresh Rathod, Secretary Mahaveer Mehta Treasurer Dayalal Jain, Kiranraj Mutha, Kishore Golecha, Kantilal Kothari, Jeetmal Obani and Suparswanath Yuvak Mandal President Sripal Ostwal were also present .
DMK R S Puram Secretary Kartik Selvaraj, Naresh Obani, V Jagadeesan, Aarusamy, A M Nasar, Aman Ravi Kumar, Rajesh Kumar were also honoured by the temple community. The MP thanked the youth of Suparswanath Mandal for providing food and essentials to the needy for the past 14 months in the city.
