Petitions submitted online to District Collector in Valparai.
Coimbatore: Government offices in Tamil Nadu are operational through websites owing to the Covid lockdown.
The Revenue Department, headed by the District Tahsildar, on Monday instructed people not to visit the District Collector directly to submit petitions since public petitions were then received at the Jamabandi camp held at each taluk office.
At present, as per the order of the District Collector Sameeran, petitions are received from the public online from each taluk office at the convenience of the public, their grievances are heard and then answered through video conferencing.
The petitioners in 11 taluka centers in Coimbatore district submitted their petitions to the District Collector online.
Currently eight petitions have been received in Valparai. Petitions were filed to lease houses, provide employment and cut down fallen trees near the residence.
Tahsildhar Rajan and Retired Governor Muthukumar were present.
