'Fun Republic' Mall in Peelamedu reopens for public

Coimbatore: The 'Fun Republic Mall' in Peelamedu was reopened on Monday following lockdown relaxations.

The Manager, Ramakrishnan said, "Fun Republic Mall which has a place in the minds of the people of Coimbatore has begun functioning again from today. The mall premises have been cleaned completely and all areas have been made safe by spraying disinfectants.

So customers can visit the mall to buy their favorite items. The cinema theaters located on the campus alone will not operate due to the Government order.

Otherwise the ‘food court’ and shops will all function as usual," he added.

"State-of-the-art equipment is installed in the entrance areas to automatically check body temperature for all visitors to the business premises.

Apart from that the customers will be allowed entry after registering the details in the register. Of the almost 600 workers who work on the mall campus, more than 50 percent are vaccinated. Steps are being taken with the help of the district administration, health department and the corporation administration to vaccinate all the rest.

We are pleased to announce the reopening of the mall today," stated Ramakrishnan.
