Coimbatore: Lockdown was declared in Valparai, Coimbatore district due to the increasing coronavirus cases.
Due to the lockdown, only grocery stores and a few shops remained open. The infection is now under control and the Tamil Nadu government has given permission to open all shops. Buses are also allowed and operated.
