Online competitions for school children on behalf of Anaimalai Tiger Reserve on World Tiger Day
Coimbatore:Forest Department hosts events in schools in Pollachi, Anaimalai and Valparai under the Pollachi Anaimalai Tiger Reserve on World Tiger Day. Due to the Coronavirus infection last year and this year these competitions are being conducted online. The Anaimalai Tiger Reserve has invited school children to participate in this year's competition. Students participating in the competition will be required to post a video of the competition they attended with their class and school name online.
Drawing competition (tiger habitat), face painting (tiger figure) competition, rhymes competition (tiger in your view) for students from 1st to 5th class and elocution for students from 6th to 8th class (Forest Guard Tiger), Face Painting (Tiger Image), Poetry Competition (Beauty of Tiger), Craft Competition (Tiger Image), and Speech Competition (Protecting tigers in the Modern World), Face Painting (Tiger Image), Poetry Competition for students in grades 9 to 10 ( Tiger in Sangam literature, competitions) and Craft Competition (Tiger Figure).
The Anaimalai Tigers Reserve has announced that students can send a video of their participation in the competition online at [email protected] or WhatsApp number 9080775768 between July 1 and 15 at 5 pm.
