Forest officers rescue and treat a hawk unable to fly in Valparai
Coimbatore: The Valparai Human-Wildlife Conflict Prevention Team was informed that a bird was unable to fly caught in the thorn bushes in the Kamaraj Nagar, Valparai, Coimbatore district.
Following this, forest officials led by Forest officer Jayachandran and Muthuraj Madan arrived at the scene. They saved the hawk that was unable to fly with the thorns.

They gave it some water, first aid and took it to a veterinary hospital. Then it came to light that the hawk was unable to fly due to the extreme cold.

They gave warmth to the hawk for a while and allowed it to fly.
