Forest officials investigates death of bison at Valparai Anaimalai Tiger Reserve
Coimbatore: Anaimalai Tiger Reserve is in Valparai, Coimbatore district. There are 2 wildlife sanctuaries operating here, Valparai Wildlife Sanctuary and Manampalli Wildlife Sanctuary.
It houses several elephants, tigers and leopards. Last week, a male bison was killed in the Stanmore area of the Valparai Wildlife Sanctuary. Following this, it was revealed today that a bison was found dead in the tea forest swamp at the Paralai Estate under the Valparai Forest Reserve. The management informed the forest department following which forest officers visited the spot and are conducting an investigation
