Coronavirus vaccination awareness camp held for people in Valparai tribal villages.
Coimbatore: As the coronavirusis on the rise in Tamil Nadu, the Tamil Nadu government is advising everyone to wear face masks, observe social distancing, wash their hands frequently and get vaccinated.
The Valparai area is home to over 2500 tribal people. Sources say they have not yet been fully vaccinated.

On behalf of the Forest Department, the Forest Department along with volunteers surveyed the Nedungundram Poonatchi Settlement area in Valparai and raised awareness about the vaccine and to test if people in tribal villages have been diagnosed with colds or headaches which are symptoms of coronavirus and how to get vaccinated to prevent it.
