Masakkalipalayam Government school in Coimbatore offers aid to its students families to help them during pandemic
Coimbatore: As the pandemic stripped off the savings of middle and lower class people since its outbreak, many families who were left out without any help are now heaving sigh of relief with people offering aid. Similarly, the Corporation middle school in Masakalipalayam near Coimbatore was on the talk among families of the students studying there. It came to light that the school started providing aid to the families of students affected in the pandemic.
According to a source, the school provides 25kg rice bags and groceries per student’s family through the fund provided from a donor based in Netherlands. The school also receives funds from donors from USA. While this has come as a great gesture from school staffs and donors, it is also come as a relief to those in need.

Devaki, Madhukarai government school principal also said students at the mid day meals scheme are also being provided with rice bags, eggs and groceries that comes from the government. Besides, the families of students at Bharathi nagar, one of the rural part of Coimbatore have also been provided with aid.
