Adi Dravida Public Welfare Committee meeting convened by District Collector Sameeran
Coimbatore: A meeting with the Coimbatore District Adi Dravidar People's Welfare Committee was convened on Tuesday by District Collector Sameeran.
In December 2020, the District Adi Dravidar Welfare Committee was formed with new members.
Owing to the Covid-19 lockdown, the review meeting was adjourned earlier. With Covid-19 cases declining, the review meeting was held at the District Collector’s office on Tuesday. In the meeting, seven cases were registered in the district under the Adi Dravidar section and were investigated by the authorities, and four cases settled.
The other three cases were put on hold as further investigation was required. The meeting was attended by District Revenue Officer Ramaduraimurugan, College Professor Suguna , Anbusiva and Bharathiyar University Professor Sureshbabu.
