Two men arrested for stealing Rs.5000 from a house near Pollachi
Coimbatore: A resident, Manikkavasakam of Thippampatti village near Pollachi had visited a relative overnight on Tuesday and returned to his locked house this morning only to find out htat his house had been burgled. Manikkavasakam was shocked to find the front door of his house ajar and realised that his house had been broken into and Rs.5000 stolen from his wardrobe.
Manikkavasakam lodged a complaint at the Komangalam police station and police registered a case and launced a man-hunt for the thieves. Tow men, Palanisamy and Marimuthu, from the same area who reportedly broke into Manikkavasakam's house and stole the money were later arrested and jailed.
