Royal Enfield Foundation donates medical equipment and ambulance worth Rs. 2 crore to primary health care centers in rural areas near Pollachi
Coimbatore: The Royal Enfield Foundation, a leading motorcycle manufacturer in India, has been providing various welfare assistance schemes to Government hospitals and primary health centers in the districts of Coimbatore and Tirupur during the second wave of Covid-19.
Various medical equipment including oxygen concentrators, X-ray equipment, thermometers and ECG equipment worth Rs. 2 crore were donated to primary health centers in and around Negamam today. An ambulance with an oxygen cylinder and other medical facilities was also provided.
Coimbatore District Medical Services Associate Director, Dr. Senthilkumar and NMCD Service Trustee Satyanarayanan attended and inaugurated the ambulance service. The event was attended by many, including Sabari Karthikeyan, the former mayor of Negamam.
