At the Coimbatore District Collector's Office, it is customary to hold a grievance meeting every Monday. The meeting was adjourned due to the spread of the Coronavirus and it was advised to put the petitions in the complaint box.
In this context, due to the curfew relaxations, an online grievance meeting was held yesterdaythrough 11 taluk offices in Coimbatore district. The public went to the taluk offices and reported their grievances directly to the collector through video. The district administration had said that an online grievance meeting will be held in the coming weeks.
The meeting was attended by District Revenue Officer Ramaduraimurugan and other departmental officials. Petitions filed at the taluka offices have been forwarded to the concerned departmental authorities for action.
