701.5 tons of waste cleared in Mass Cleaning in Coimbatore Corporation


Coimbatore: Intensive cleaning work was carried out from 18.06.2021 to 25.06.2021 to remove stagnated waste and debris in the areas under the Corporation of Coimbatore.

Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara said during the 7 days of mass cleaning at 3 locations in the zone, a total of 701.5 tons of waste was disposed of at 105 areas with 222 tons in East Zone, 138 tons in the West Zone, 172 tons in the North Zone, 70 tons in the South Zone and 99.5 tons in the Central Zone for 99.5 tons.
