TACT requests vaccination of those employed by small entrepreneurs in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: TACT has requested immediate action to vaccinate those employed by small entrepreneurs in Coimbatore. For the past one month, on behalf of the 707 union, the district business center has been demanding that small entrepreneurs work through the Union to hold camps and vaccinate workers. Entrepreneurs, in particular, have about 2 to 10 and sometimes about 14 workers in their firms.
Hence, a request has been made by TACT to have these workers vaccinated immediately through their industry organization as per Government guidelines. As a first step, they have made arrangements to conduct a vaccination camp in Edayarpalayam, Irugur and Avarampalayam. At least 700 vaccine doses will be administered in each camp to micro-entrepreneurs and hence small-time workers have been asked to get vaccinated at the camps.
