CPI members protest in Valparai to repeal Agriculture Act and reduce fuel prices
Coimbatore: The Communist party members protested in Valparai, Coimbatore district demanding repeal of Agriculture Act, reduce fuel prices and cancel NEET exam.

The Communist party, Viduthalai Siruthaigal and Union executives led by the Marxist Communist Party in Valparai condemned the Central Government and demanded the repeal of the Agriculture Act, reduce hike in petrol and diesel prices and cancellation of NEET exams.

At around 11 am this morning, protesters carried their party flags and chanted slogans near Gandhi statue at the bus stand. They called for a reduction in fuel prices, grant GST tax exemption to Tamil Nadu, to repeal the NEET exam and also repeal the Agriculture Law. Party members Paramasivam, Viswanathan, Manickam, Mohan and others were present.
