Inspections were conducted in ration shops to check if Covid relief items were reaching the public in Valparai
Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin's Covid-19 relief aid of Rs.4000 is being distributed in two installments of Rs. 2000 each along with a package of 14 grocery items for each ration card holder in the state.

In the past few days, the public have been gathering to receive their rations. There are 17,636 ration card holders in the Valparai area of Coimbatore district.

Valparai Tahsildhar's office staff inspected ration shops to ensure the two Rs. 2000 installments along with the 14 grocery items were properly distributed to the public, and that products such as rice, lentils, sugar, wheat, oil and kerosene were delivered to the public on time.
The inspection was done at ration shops in Sholayar, Thaimudi, Nallamudi, Muthu Mudi.
