Police impose fines on those who wander unnecessarily in Valparai
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has declared a complete lockdown in Valparai to control the second wave of coronavirus.
Only banks, grocery, vegetable, milk and pharmacies and ration shops are allowed to operate. Following this several people from all walks of life are crowding to Valparai to buy goods. On the orders of Valparai Police Inspector Maheshwari, Assistant Inspector Murugaiyya and police have set up barricades and are conducting vehicle inspections.
They are recording the numbers of oncoming vehicles and vehicles coming unwantedly are sent back. Vehicles that repeat offense are fined and action is taken. Police are sending back people who wander unnecessarily on the road
