The All India Agrarian Struggle Coordinating Committee (AIACCC) staged a protest against the Tirupur Municipal Corporation office, demanding the withdrawal of the Central Government's Agriculture Amendment Bill, the legalization of the minimum support price and the repeal of the Electricity Amendment Bill which deprives agriculture of free electricity.
The unions also rallied in support of the struggling farmers, chanting various demands.
